The Nike Football Training camp was a great experience this year. Despite not being held at Stanford University due to NCAA rule changes it still brought out some of the best athletes California had to offer. The 270 kids picked to attended this camp are hand selected based off their elite ability's and potential to play at the next level. This camp gives them a chance to work with Elite Nike trainers and former NFL athletes in specific positional drills. The camp is finished with one on ones and team head to head action!

I had the blessed opportunity to work side by side with my new strength and conditioning trainer Eugene Smith this year. Together we concentrated our training with over 50 of the top high school wide receivers, tight ends and quarterbacks. Intensity levels were high and attention fully evolved on every pointer and training tip given from me and Eugene.

The beautiful part was seeing several of my 715 Fitness clients ready for war! Our guys mastered all drills. I would occasionally catch a smile or laugh when another trainer would demonstrate a drill we do everyday in our trainer facility. I had full confidence in my guys and they proved me right. Attacking all hurdle and ladder drills. Blowing by defenders and "D-ing" up receivers made me feel like all the hard work every day training in our facility had paid off!

I was also great to work with other Nike Elite trainers from other states and share training knowledge and talking about our clients. Many were very interested in our gyms success and rapid progress with current NFL clients and college athletes. Its always good to know when others support you and follow what you are doing. I look forward to next year.

New Gym Gets a great program!

We at 715 Fitness would like to congratulate Jamal Liggin for becoming the new Sports Performance Director at the newly build training facility Core Dynamics in San Leandro California. After many years of training professional, college, and high school athletes in gyms and schools across the San Francisco/ Oakland Bay Area, Jamal will now be training in a 5,000 square foot facility. "This idea has been in the makings for over 8 years now", says business partner and strength and conditioning trainer Eugene Smith.

Their goal was to have a indoor facility complete with indoor turf, full weight room, office space, yoga and mat room for our clients to train at. Day 1 of the gyms opening had over 40 clients brought in from all over the country ready to train. "I love it here. I feel like I can really open my training creativity and bring a complete program to my clients". The 715 Fitness sports performance training program is one of many programs housed under this roof. Jamal Liggin wears many director hats here as well as still being a full time trainer working with athletes and personal training clients.

The program is great. Athletes receive a complete training regiment here. Jamal Liggin's primary director role is programing athletes workouts and enhancing their speed, agility, and quickness. He has obligated the role of strength and conditioning to his good friend and elite trainer Eugene Smith. These two elite trainers are a deadly combination. Each workout is complete with speed training followed by a strength training session.

The 715 Fitness sports performance training program is home to many athletes in all sports from football, basketball, baseball, rugby, volleyball, and more. I want my clients to always have a place to train when they are home in the bay area or when they come home from a playing season out of town. Marshawn Lynch, NFL Running back for the Seattle Seahawks is one of many professional athletes who trains with 715 Fitness. He says," It is great to have a gym close to home when I get back from Seattle!".

The 715 Fitness Training Program is located at 3079 Teagarden St. San Leandro Ca 94577. We look forward to preparing you to achieve your goals!
