The NFL Draft this year was very shocking at many times. I always enjoy watching the look on players and there family’s faces when they call out the team that drafted them. Its almost as if they have just hit the lottery! My real enjoyment is training football players days after they have watched the draft. I think that there is no supplement, energy drink, pill or motivational speech that can compare the feeling you have when you see someone getting drafted to the NFL from college to make you want to train that much harder.......

Most people watch to see their favorite team draft choice. I personally watch from a trainer’s perspective. Month’s prior to the NFL Combine is where my fellow trainers and I go to work! Preparing our clients for their upcoming Pro-days and hopefully the NFL Combine where hundreds of coaches, agents and scouts are studying potential players. My job is simple. Make sure they run fast, jump high, lift the gym and look good doing it. The most beautiful part of the whole combine is knowing that all of your hard work did not go unvalidated. It all comes down to the numbers. The difference between tenths of a second could be a chance on a professional team or and extra million on your contract....
