Are you really prepared for you try-out? Take a second to ask yourself what have you done to physically and mentally prepare yourself then proceed to read this...
As an athlete you are faced with decisions that can help or harm your athletic ability. Its up to you to read between the lines and decide which ones will help you. Going to the club or staying up late before a serious workout will not do it. I read tons Facebook and Twitter post talking about how players are out drinking and smoking all night or "chillin up late doing nothing". How do you expect to perform at your highest level when you haven’t given your body time to recover (sleep). How would you feel if I came to your training session half awake or hung-over? It would be a disaster from the warm-up drills to the cool-down. This is what I’m saying, get proper sleep and a good meal the night before. I feel that the night before spend it with the people that have supported you to get to this point in your life.
